During Term 3, our students wholeheartedly embraced the theme of Catholic Education Week 2025, demonstrating the values of compassion, service, and community in meaningful and inspiring ways.
Throughout the week, students engaged in a variety of outreach activities that brought joy and comfort to others. From crafting heartfelt thank-you cards for first responders to brightening the day of residents at a local aged care facility, their actions reflected the heart of Catholic education.
Other acts of kindness included:
- Reading stories to children at nearby childcare centres
- Leaving uplifting notes in library books to surprise and encourage readers
- Baking homemade biscuits for residents at a retirement village
- Helping clean and care for our school grounds
- Creating “Get Well Soon” cards for patients at the local hospital
- Each gesture, no matter how small, served as a powerful reminder of the impact that kindness can have. These moments of connection and care not only supported those in need but also helped our students grow in empathy and leadership.
We are incredibly proud of their efforts and the way they continue to be the hands and feet of Christ in our world. Catholic Education Week 2025 was more than a celebration - it was a living example of faith in action.
