At St Mary’s Primary School, we are committed to supporting every child’s successful transition into Prep. As part of our Pre-Prep process, each child participates in a screening that assesses foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and oral language. These screenings are designed to identify each child’s strengths and highlight any areas that may benefit from additional support before starting school. The results are shared with parents to help guide home-based reinforcement and ensure that every child begins their school journey with confidence and readiness.
